Now that we are into Fall with Winter coming up fast, we need to keep our skin looking and feeling great. These two amazing products will keep you moisturized and glowing so you can look your best for all the upcoming holiday parties!
My pick for the best body moisturizer on the market is Kiehl's Creme De Corps. This creme hydrates skin like no other and leaves it with a natural glow without feeling greasy! If you splurge on anything this winter for your skin, make this your pick.
Origins Salt Rub is our other must have for winter skin. This tub of salt and essential oils scrubs dead skin cells off to reveal a smooth, soft layer of skin that us dolls crave for. It has such a calming scent too! Follow it up with the Creme de Corps and your skin is winter ready!xo,Violet
Let's start this week out with some serious beauty! Violet and I really had so much fun dolling up Lena and her bridesmaids. The wedding was at a beautiful location on the Coast on quite possibly the best day of weather this year. Sunny, bright and beautiful! Here are a few pictures taken by Michelle King who did an absolutely stunning job documenting the day. I have to admit I gasped when I saw all of this gorgeousness!
We have added more photos of Lena's wedding in our "Featured Bride" section of our website if you would like to see more....
Too Faced's Shadow Collection kits have long been our favorite go to for everyday looks we create on ourselves. Read our post on "The Naturals" kit here. With so many shadows to choose from in our professional kits, it is so nice to have a kit with everything you need all in one place.
This Naked Eye kit is simply fabulous! You can go from day to night without rummaging through your makeup collection. It's also the perfect choice for gym bag or weekend travel bag makeup.
Sweep "In the buff" under the brow, add a touch of "Pillow Talk" to your lid, black mascara and viola, a perfect daytime look. Add "Like a Virgin" or "Unmentionable" into the crease and "Stiletto" to the outer lash line for the perfect evening update. These are just a few of the many looks you can create with this set. Available at Sephora for only $35.00, this is on our must purchase list.
Smashbox is always on the top of the list of Makeup Dolls favorites and they are on HauteLook today! Yippie! Here are a few of our standout picks for your purchase:

Wouldn't these be just darling to put on the bed for detail photos of a brides dress, jewelry and/or shoes! Another handmade beauty from Etsy! Check out Idotakeu's shop for other fabulous wedding related finds.
I know, I know another Stila favorite but when it's good, it's good right? I am so in love with the new Smudge Stick Waterproof eyeliner that I wear them every single day either alone with black mascara or with shadows. I used them on every single bridesmaid this past weekend, seven of them to be exact...yes I like them that much!
These super pigmented liners are perfect for the smoky eye look...just smudge them. They are excellent on the waterline...they stay put. Best of all they have a bit of shimmer to them to keep even the darkest colors from looking harsh.
My favorite colors so far are...
Lionfish (Medium Brown)
Purple Tang (Sparkle-y Eggplant Purple)
I have an order in for the rest of the colors and I can't wait for them to arrive! You can order these on line at Stila Cosmetics or pickup at your local Sephora Store.
Angela was such a beautiful bride! We had the best time dolling up her and her bridesmaids, mother and sister. There were so many tasty treats and goodies in the getting ready suite, that just added to the air of fun. It was a beautiful day and even prettier wedding! Special thanks to Meg Perotti for sharing these photos with us. The link to her site is below.
Isn't this just to most stunning necklace!?!? You would think this is metal but it is actually laser cut leather! Wouldn't this be a beautiful addition to your jewelry wardrobe or a fantastic bridal necklace for the bride that wants nothing to do with pearls?
I about screamed when I saw this photo! Could they look any more amazing or any more glamorous! This photo by Laura is so now...so modern...so take my breath away! I seriously can't wait to see the rest!

Now we love a good skin primer! We love Smashbox's "Photo Finish", we love Benefit's "That Gal" but hate to admit we are still a bit, should I say unconvinced that Stila's One Step Correct should replace either of these as our top two?
One Step is a color corrector, moisturizer and brightener. It is also supposed to improve skintone, even out the complexion, and helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles. While I really WANT to like, okay love, this product, it just falls short. Sure, it looks cool and it feels nice when it goes on, but I am just still not sure. I will continue to try it this weekend and keep you all posted. Leave a comment below if you have tried this and let us know what you think.
Have a wonderful weekend! We are baptizing my little baby girl Ellie tomorrow with a fabulous party to follow. Hope you have something fun in store too!
