Mila, oh Mila...we are your biggest fans! Smudgy, smoky, slightly messy eyes, bronze-y blush and nothing there lips...loving it all! With such a bright, edgy dress this choice for blend in makeup and soft hair was nothing short of brilliant! 



Well hello, Leah Michelle, aren't you drop dead gorgeous! This dress was fantastic on her and the sexy bedroom hair and eyes pulled this look together. It's Hollywood bombshell, in such a very update way and we love every bit of it. 



January Jones! Her look is a wink to the past while being completely modern. I don't think anyone does the modern vintage as well as January. Flawless, no?

Hair Must Haves - Tresemme Dry Shampoo

Violet and I had a photo shoot with Stacey of xoxowithlovephotography.com Sunday for some new images for our website in gorgeous Tiburon (see the view below). More to come about that later in the week....

It's great to have a fabulous hairstylist as a business partner and a sister...that means I get to have fantastic hair for just sitting in the chair. Violet used her secret weapon, Tresemme dry shampoo on my one day dirty hair for a bit of volume and oil absorption.  Here are some tips:


- Shake vigorously before and in between sprays. 
- Spritz at roots, holding the can about 8 inches away. 
- Let the product sit in the hair for up to two minutes the brush and style as normal. 
The result was a bit of volume at the crown and soft, beachy waves with a 2" barrel curling iron. I loved it! I love the price tag too, at $4.00 at your local drug store, everyone can skip a day of washing and have great hair!

Red Carpet Beauty Review - Golden Globes 2010

Award season has officially started! The 2011 Golden Globes were a smashing beauty success and we have quite a few loves for the night.

Emma Stone(pictured left): Now being a blonde, Emma chose to accentuate that new look with a subtle golden glow to her skin and a slinky body hugging peach gown. She had a sultry smoky liner which brought out the shape of her eyes. That was accompanied by matte nude lips, which was one of the treds of the night, made her look oh so glam. She could have gone more natural, but we loved that she vamped it up with the makeup choices.

Jennifer Lopez: Once again, JLO brings the sex appeal with her nod to the '60's with her heavy winged eyeliner, silvery shadow and very nude lips. To top it off, she chose a flirty ponytail, which several stars wore to make the Globes a playful evening with retro hairstyles. A great choice to recreate this matte nude lip is Makeup Forever's Matte Flesh.

January Jones: Red hot in Versace, January made a statement with voluminous, billowy hair that was curled with a large iron towards the face, and was smoothed  to perfection with a boar bristle brush. Her lips were crimson and soft light brown shades were used on the eyes to bring the look together.

Mila Kunis: The Black Swan star, wore a beautiful green gown and loved that she chose a coral lip to make her skin tone pop. Mila's eyes were lined on top and in the waterline with a chocolate pencil to create a clean, but evening appropriate look. xo,

Nail Must Have - OPI's collaboration with Katy Perry

We love OPI's polishes and the last collection, Burlesque, was so amazing!! Now they have done it once again with a collaboration with Katy Perry.

This set is filled with a berry tone, glittery pink, bright blue and a cool minty green. The best part is this black topcoat that you apply to "shatter" the polish. It looks like leopard print on your tips! You can also apply the black topcoat to any other of your OPI polishes. This series comes out soon so get your hands on it asap!
