New Feature - Product Love....Our must haves!

We have started a new feature on our Facebook Page called Product Love...Our must haves! We will post photos and information about so of our favorite products, the ones we use on ourselves daily and products we use on our clients for weddings and photo shoot.

I call it my morning savior. It's a liner, shadow and smudger all in one and when I only have a quick minute to do my eye makeup, this is my go to! Try Teak and Stone for everyday staple colors. 

Mac Prep + Prime Lash 

MAC Prep+Prime. Your lashes bff! I apply a coat of this right before my black mascara and it makes my lashes look so full and long. It's like false lashes, without the glue!

Beauty Studio Bridal Trial Session - Jennifer G.

We had such a fantastic trial with Jennifer and ooh honey, doesn't she look like a movie star!?!?!?! This photo is straight dreamy, bridal goodness! Is it September yet? We can hardly wait to get Jennifer and her bridesmaids ready for her wedding at Beaulieu Gardens in Rutheford.

Hello again....

Our blog has been neglected, quite neglected in fact! We have been busy with so many great things, that blogging just sort of fell to the wayside. It's unfortunate because writing about beauty is something that Violet and I really love, so we are back.

The Lab Event - See you there 1/14/12 Sonoma!

Violet and I are thrilled to be a part of The Lab Event! We are taking over Sonoma on January 14th! What is The Lab Event, you ask?


The Lab is a handpicked collection of some of the top trend-setting wedding industry professionals Northern California has to offer. It's designed to be an experience for couples seeking vendors, inspiration, and style definition for their wedding day. The Lab won't have typical vendor booths or pushy salespeople. Instead, in a laid-back setting, couples will experience inspiration boards brought to life, sips and bites from some of the best caterers, sweet and treats from top dessert designers, a vendor library, a non-traditional runway show, and one heck of a party to round out the night. Come see what else we have in store - there are many secrets...


The Makeup Dolls will be providing makeup and hair for the runway show, as well as, glossing lips and smoking out lids on all brides to be! Please come by and say hi.

Yelp Reviews - Thank you Barbara!

Sorry for the absence! My husband had knee surgery about a month ago and I have been working full time, Makeup Dolls almost every weekend, caretaker to a husband in need and of course my favorite job, being a mom to my 1.5 year old. Needless to say, I didn't have a moment to blog.
