The Dolls Recommend - Our Brush Must Haves Part 2 - Eyes and Lips

Part two of our picks for brush must haves for eyes and lips. As we said in our previous post, your application will only be as good as the tools you use. It really is that important! The proper brush for the job can quickly turn each of us into a makeup artist in our own right making the application easier and the look more finished.

We love brushes that do double duty, so it's no surprise that two double sided Stila brushes top our list of favs:
#20 Eye Enhancer Brush - Stila $32.00
The softly angled end blends color from lash line up to the crease while the rounded, pointed end lines top or beneath the eye and/or adds the perfect pop of color to the center of the lids, also great for smudging out pencil liner. This is an essential for any makeup kit and it will literally last for years!

#15 Double Sided Crease and Liner Brush - Stila $15.00
This larger brush is ideal for applying eye shadow or contour to the lid area. The smaller brush, used wet or dry, lines and defines eyes to complete the look. This too is an essential for any makeup kit! We have had this brush for over 6 years and it looks brand new!

Some single sided picks:
#9 All Over Blend Brush - Stila $24.00
Hands down best blending brush we have ever used. Using this brush in a soft circular motion over harsh shadow lines blends shadows instantly and with true ease. This brush is the perfect choice for lying on a light wash of color over the entire lid including shimmery shadows.

Eyebrow Brush - Make Up Forever $19.00
Perfectly firm and angled to apply just the right amount of brow powder to fill and contour brows.

#210 Precise Eyeliner Brush - MAC $17.50
The hairs of this brush are perfectly cut and shaped to give extremely precise lines, perfect to use with your MAC fluidline or other cake or gel liner.

Lip Brush - Clinique $13.50
Retractable brush that distributes color evenly with precise definition.
