Ombre translates from French quite literally to mean "shaded", think of a gradient of color and for hair a gradation of color from root to tips! It is a hot celeb trend that you should try, with a color professional of course. This would be my trend of choice if I wasn't working my way to a full head of blond hair at the moment. It is so now and really ridiculously cool!Reasons to try...Low maintenance! You might just put your colorist out of business without those 6 week root touch ups and it's also a great way to grow out roots. This color trend works best on longer hair to really take advantage of the color gradation.
